The Association of Translators and Interpreters "Land of Understanding" (Bereg Ponimaniya) was established in 2000. The idea belonged to a group of graduates of the Moscow State Linguistic University (MGLU) considered as the best Russian forge of translators and interpreters. In fact we are not a commercial organization but rather an association of colleagues who use this site as a tool of getting some extra job. That's why our rates are relatively low.

In Ru.Net (the Russian segment of the Web) you will find dozens of translation and interpretation services' sites. Most of such services intermediate between customers and people who virtually perform works or render services. It's quite common for Moscow translation bureaus to pay out to translator they hire just 20-40 per cent of the total amount charged. Unlike them we offer you the opportunity to contact our interpreters and translators directly. The outcome is advantageous for both the parties: the rates are lower and the translator's fees are higher. Naturally the quality of service improves as the translator is chary of his reputation. As for the customer he's more certain that the work would be executed in time and that the quality would be high.
